The MetLife Massacre.
Just had an old post hit 1,000 notes…so that’s pretty cool.
An abandoned house we stumbled upon while on a hike through the mountains.
Shit yeah! It can’t get much better.
I would like to extend my upmost thanks to the Federal Government and their financial aid system for keeping me from being able to attend college next year. It’s really nice of them to think about my future like that. They could have been total assholes and just given me the necessary amount of money that I require to continue my education, but instead, they decided to go out of their way to completely cut my work study grant, cut my loans in half and award me a parent plus loan, which of course makes total sense now that I’m no longer a dependent of my mother. I’m glad, really glad, that you still based my entire award off her income, regardless of the fact that she doesn’t support me. It must have seemed like a wonderful idea at the time to award me the bulk of my loans in a way that I can’t use. You guys probably saw my 3.8 GPA and figured I wasn’t cut out for the whole “college” thing. I can always count on you guys to make my life exponentially harder.
A really pissed off student.
Been jammin to this all night. Ladies and Gentlemen, the epitome of 1980’s Rock n’ Roll.
Maggie, Maggers, Magoogles, Googes
Some of my best memories as a child were shared with this amazing pup. I remember countless days where I would come home from school and she would be the first to greet me, and even though she got into the trash, dug up flowers, and would beg for food and belly rubs for hours, she was still one of a kind. She had such an incredible personality, and her presence will be greatly missed by all of us who got to share with her, her short but unforgettable time on this earth.
Goodbye Maggie, you have no idea how much you’ll be missed.
This is easily one of the greatest summer albums ever recorded. Simply perfect for a bike ride around town.
